TiArA is a user-friendly software platform for the analysis of Affymetrix tiling array data. It can be installed natively on Ubuntu linux, or downloaded as a virtual appliance that runs under virtualization software such as Sun's Virtualbox or VMware. It is implemented as a set of Perl and R scripts with a GTK frontend and a MySQL database backend for storage of probe level data.
